Why hello, Loki... I'm not pointing this camera at you for any reason, please... go back to relaxing. ...
I chose this as my picture for the day. The color is right. And I love that his green eyes are clear. This is straight from the camera, no editing. It was a tough choice between that picture, and this one below:
Doesn't he look so cute and snuggly? I love this one because the position of his head is a bit more flattering, but no green eyes. This was the last clear shot I got for the day because the butt-head then decided he was going to move around, switch positions, and continually lick himself with his back towards me to thwart all future pictures.
Now to play some catch-up, I'll do one other picture. This was taken Sunday, my true first day of the project.
This weekend the Honey and I went to Ojo Caliente with a friend of mine for an overnight get-away. We love it there. Soooo very relaxing. Anyway... this trip there weren't many flowers in bloom, but there were a few daffodils, a long time favorite of mine. Sunday, before we left, I had to snap a few pics and this is my favorite of the bunch. Such a happy little flower.
I had also been trying to take pictures of some of the other sparse flowers around, and I desperately struggled with this white ones. They seemed horribly over-exposed, no matter how I played with my settings. I was pleasantly surprised to see them on the computer, not as bad as I thought. This one really caught my eye:
This was a complete accident. I was trying to get the flowers. On viewing though, the ants amuse me. However, what really caught my eye... the bee. When I opened this on the computer, I actually yelled out loud "Wow! Look at the bee!" The Honey was amused. But that bee! He looks like I placed him there.
So I'm easily amused.
